Error in spyder which comes with python(x,y) giving ‘int’ object is not callable

By Ac3_DeXt3R

I am running spyder to write a small program to find the number of bytes in the string.I ran the same thing in Ipython interpreter and running successfully, but not in spyder.
I couldn’t be able to figure it out whats wrong here!!!

x = raw_input("Enter the Hex string")
length = len(x)
numofbytes = 0
if length%2==0:
    numofbytes = length/2
else:
    numofbytes = (length/2)+1
print "Number of bytes in hex string is: ", numofbytes

I am getting error “‘int’ object is not callable”
